The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 5.42% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Inter IKEA Holding IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Inter IKEA Holding, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 40.32% in August 2022, and a 15.25% drop over July 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 29.03% in August 2022, and registered growth of 125%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.32% in August 2022, a 280% rise from July 2022.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 50% share, which marked a 6.9% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 28.23%, registering an 118.75% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 12.9% share and a 33.33% rise over July 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 8.87% and a month-on-month increase of 37.5%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 28.23% share in August 2022, a 133.33% growth over July 2022. Netherlands featured next with a 15.32% share, up 5.56% over the previous month. Sweden recorded a 12.9% share, an increase of 100% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Inter IKEA Holding IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 83.87%, up by 33.33% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 10.48% share, a growth of 62.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.65% share, down 12.5% over July 2022.
