Europe drives IT hiring at Inter IKEA Holding

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 69.19% share, which marked a 72.46% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 12.79%, registering a 57.14% month-on-month growth. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with an 8.72% share and a flat growth over August 2021.

In the fourth place was Asia-Pacific with a share of 8.72% and a month-on-month decline of 16.67%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.58%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.

Sweden commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 29.65% share in September 2021, a 104% growth over August 2021. Netherlands featured next with a 19.77% share, up 78.95% over the previous month. US recorded an 11.05% share, an increase of 35.71% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Inter IKEA Holding IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 83.14%, up by 88.16% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 9.3% share, a growth of 60% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 6.4% share, down 8.33% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.16%, recording a month-on-month decline of 33.33%.
