Switzerland-based company Nestle’s IT hiring rose 3.0% in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 7.71% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 3.48% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 0.22% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nestle IT hiring in November 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nestle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 43.64% in November 2021, and a 25% drop over October 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 21.82% in November 2021, and registered a decline of 20%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 20% in November 2021, an 83.33% rise from October 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Nestle

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 47.27% share, which marked a 4% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 34.55%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 12.73% share and a 250% rise over October 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 3.64% and a month-on-month decline of 33.33%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.82%, registering an 80% drop over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 34.55% share in November 2021, an 11.76% growth over October 2021. Ukraine featured next with an 18.18% share, up 900% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 5.45% share, a decline of 66.67% compared with October 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Nestle IT hiring activity in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.82%, flat growth from October 2021. Entry Level positions with a 20% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 18.18% share, up 11.11% over October 2021.
