The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.79% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
Out of the retail industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.12% share in November 2021, recording a decrease of 0.47% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 54.88% in November 2021, registering a 26.23% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 35.37% share, an increase of 190% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8.54%, registering a 40% rise from October 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 2.44%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five retail companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 22.81% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands retail industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize posted 26 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 271.43% over the previous month, followed by Inter IKEA Holding with 25 jobs and a 30.56% drop. Hema with 8 IT jobs and NIKE with 6 jobs, recorded a 166.67% growth and a 200% growth, respectively, while adidas recorded a decline of 44.44% with 5 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.2%, down by 7.27% from October 2021. Entry Level positions with a 19.51% share, registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 18.29% share, flat growth over October 2021.
