US-based company NIKE’s IT hiring declined 2.6% in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.29% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 11.94% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.19% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops NIKE IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by NIKE, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72.82% in September 2022, and an 11.76% drop over August 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 15.53% in September 2022, and registered growth of 60%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 6.8% in September 2022, a 16.67% rise from August 2022.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 22.33%, registering a 91.67% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with an 8.74% share and a 62.5% drop over August 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 68.93% share in September 2022, a 1.43% growth over August 2022. India featured next with a 21.36% share, up 83.33% over the previous month. Netherlands recorded a 5.83% share, a decline of 45.45% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead NIKE IT hiring activity in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.25%, down by 7.69% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 33.98% share, a growth of 12.9% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.77% share, down 20% over August 2022.
