NIKE’s IT hiring activity declines 4.2% in August 2022

US-based company NIKE’s IT hiring declined 4.2% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.32% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 12.34% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.42% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops NIKE IT hiring in August 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by NIKE, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 81% in August 2022, and a 39.66% rise over July 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 10% in August 2022, and registered growth of 25%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 4% in August 2022, a flat growth from July 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at NIKE

North America emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 65% share, which marked an 8.33% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 24%, registering a 700% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 11% share and a 26.67% drop over July 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 65% share in August 2022, an 8.33% growth over July 2022. India featured next with an 11% share, down 8.33% over the previous month. Netherlands recorded an 11% share, an increase of 266.67% compared with July 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead NIKE IT hiring activity in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 62%, up by 44.19% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 29% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9% share, up 50% over July 2022.
