US-based company NIKE’s IT hiring declined 6.1% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 16.07% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 12.61% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 1.65% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops NIKE IT hiring in June 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by NIKE, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 77.32% in June 2022, and a 21.05% drop over May 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 7.22% in June 2022, and registered growth of 250%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 5.15% in June 2022, a 66.67% rise from May 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at NIKE
North America emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 59.79% share, which marked a 36.96% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 32.99%, registering a 146.15% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.22% share and a 40% rise over May 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 58.76% share in June 2022, a 38.04% decline over May 2022. India featured next with a 29.9% share, up 123.08% over the previous month. Netherlands recorded a 4.12% share, an increase of 300% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead NIKE IT hiring activity in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 47.42%, down by 23.33% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 43.3% share, a growth of 5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.28% share, down 10% over May 2022.
