US-based company NIKE’s IT hiring rose 2.0% in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 2.86% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 13.3% share in the company’s total hiring activity in March 2022, and recorded a 0.43% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops NIKE IT hiring in March 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by NIKE, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 75.56% in March 2022, and a 2% rise over February 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 9.63% in March 2022, and registered growth of 116.67%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.15% in March 2022, a 37.5% rise from February 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at NIKE

North America emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in March 2022 with a 59.26% share, which marked a flat growth over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 31.85%, registering a 4.88% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with an 8.89% share and a 50% rise over February 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 58.52% share in March 2022, a 1.25% decline over February 2022. India featured next with a 19.26% share, down 10.34% over the previous month. China recorded a 5.93% share, a decline of 11.11% compared with February 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead NIKE IT hiring activity in March 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.59%, up by 4.41% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 28.89% share, a decline of 22% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.3% share, up 100% over February 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.22%, recording a month-on-month increase of 200%.
