
US-based company NIKE’s IT hiring rose 7.8% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 2.58% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 11.47% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 1.33% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops NIKE IT hiring in February 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by NIKE, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 73.39% in February 2022, and a 15.94% rise over January 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 11.01% in February 2022, and registered growth of 100%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.34% in February 2022, a 60% rise from January 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at NIKE
North America emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 62.39% share, which marked a 17.24% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 29.36%, registering a 28% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.34% share and a 33.33% drop over January 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.92% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 62.39% share in February 2022, a 17.24% growth over January 2022. India featured next with a 19.27% share, up 16.67% over the previous month. China recorded a 7.34% share, an increase of 166.67% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead NIKE IT hiring activity in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 51.38%, up by 9.8% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 37.61% share, a growth of 28.13% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.09% share, down 15.38% over January 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.92%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
