Panasonic’s IT hiring activity declines 6.0% in June 2022

Japan-based company Panasonic’s IT hiring declined 6.0% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 6.91% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 30.98% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.44% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Panasonic IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Panasonic, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 48.57% in June 2022, and a 17.07% drop over May 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 25.71% in June 2022, and registered a decline of 10%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 22.86% in June 2022, a flat growth from May 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Panasonic

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 55.71% share, which marked a 20.41% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 37.14%, registering a 13.04% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.14% share and a 58.33% drop over May 2022.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 55.71% share in June 2022, a 20.41% decline over May 2022. US featured next with a 20% share, up 27.27% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 17.14% share, an increase of 9.09% compared with May 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Panasonic IT hiring activity in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60%, up by 5% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 35.71% share, a decline of 32.43% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.29% share, down 57.14% over May 2022.
