PepsiCo’s IT hiring activity declines 4.0% in June 2022

US-based company PepsiCo’s IT hiring declined 4.0% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 10.78% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 6.09% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 1.24% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops PepsiCo IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by PepsiCo, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 48.81% in June 2022, and an 8.89% drop over May 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 34.52% in June 2022, and registered a decline of 6.45%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 11.9% in June 2022, a 52.38% drop from May 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at PepsiCo

North America emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 60.71% share, which marked a 30.14% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 28.57%, registering a 20% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 9.52% share and a 46.67% drop over May 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.19% and a month-on-month flat growth.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 55.95% share in June 2022, a 32.86% decline over May 2022. India featured next with a 28.57% share, up 20% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 3.57% share, a decline of 50% compared with May 2022.

Entry Level jobs lead PepsiCo IT hiring activity in June 2022

Entry Level jobs held a share of 35.71%, up by 7.14% from May 2022. Junior Level positions with a 34.52% share, a decline of 36.96% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 22.62% share, down 32.14% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 7.14%, recording a month-on-month decline of 14.29%.
