Poland’s consumer industry IT recruitment activity drops 2.4% in June 2022

Poland’s consumer industry registered a 2.4% drop in IT hiring activity in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.73% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.52% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.48% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.92% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s consumer industry in June 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 35.42% in June 2022, registering a 15% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 33.33% share, a decrease of 5.88% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 14.58%, registering a 133.33% rise from May 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 12.5%, up 20% over the previous month.

Top five consumer companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 20.83% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s consumer industry during June 2022 over May 2022.

Reckitt Benckiser Group posted 8 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Carlsberg with 6 jobs and a 14.29% drop. Whirlpool with 6 IT jobs and The Procter & Gamble with 5 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while British American Tobacco recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during June 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.75%, down by 2.94% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.75% share, registered an increase of 12.5% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.5% share, down 14.29% over May 2022.
