
Poland’s consumer industry registered a 7.3% rise in IT hiring activity in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 1.22% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.88% share in May 2022, recording an increase of 0.35% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s consumer industry in May 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 35.48% in May 2022, registering a 10% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 32.26% share, an increase of 233.33% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 19.35%, registering a 20% rise from April 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 6.45%, down 33.33% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 187.5% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s consumer industry during May 2022 over April 2022.
Carlsberg posted 7 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Reckitt Benckiser Group with 6 jobs and a 200% growth. The Procter & Gamble with 5 IT jobs and Mars with 3 jobs, recorded a 16.67% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while British American Tobacco recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.65%, up by 78.57% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 9.68% share, registered a decline of 40% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.68% share, flat growth over April 2022.
