Russia’s consumer industry IT recruitment activity rises 4.9% in June 2022

Russia’s consumer industry registered a 4.9% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 6.73% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.34% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.71% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Russia’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Russia’s consumer industry in June 2022.

1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 34.21% in June 2022, registering a 43.48% decline over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 31.58% share, an increase of 100% over the previous month.

3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 15.79%, registering a 50% rise from May 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 10.53%, down 50% over the previous month.

Top five consumer companies in Russia’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Russia’s consumer industry during June 2022 over May 2022.

Cherkizovo Group posted 30 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 21.05% over the previous month, followed by Ros Agro with 5 jobs and a 44.44% drop. Anheuser-Busch InBev with 3 IT jobs, recorded a 200% growth.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 86.84%, down by 21.43% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 7.89% share, registered a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.26% share, flat growth over May 2022.
