The industry’s overall hiring increased by 7.71% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of South Korea’s retail industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
Coupang posted 120 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 650% over the previous month, followed by Amazon with 19 jobs and a 90% growth. eBay with 3 IT jobs and NIKE with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.03%, up by 389.47% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 32.17% share, registered an increase of 557.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Senior job ads with 1.4% share, flat growth over September 2021, while Entry Level postings accounted for 1.4%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
