The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 19.83% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the retail industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.09% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 0.72% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Sweden’s retail industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.25% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Sweden’s retail industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 57.89% in November 2022, registering a 13.79% growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a 22.81% share, an increase of 18.18% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.53%, registering a 100% rise from October 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 3.51%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five retail companies in Sweden’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 62.86% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Sweden’s retail industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Inter IKEA Holding posted 48 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 41.18% over the previous month, followed by Axfood with 5 jobs and a flat growth. SOTI with 2 IT jobs and Zalando with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Boozt recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.16%, up by 28.57% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 36.84% share, registered an increase of 16.67% compared with the previous month.
