The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 13.27% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Sweden’s retail industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
H & M Hennes & Mauritz posted 59 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 20.41% over the previous month, followed by Inter IKEA Holding with 28 jobs and a 45.1% drop. Amazon with 5 IT jobs and ICA Gruppen with 4 jobs, recorded a 28.57% decline and a 20% decrease, respectively, while Axfood recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.45%, down by 20.22% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.37% share, registered an increase of 38.46% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.16% share, down 27.27% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.02%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
