The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 26.92% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s retail industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
Amazon posted 76 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a drop of 50.65% over the previous month, followed by ASOS with 25 jobs and a flat growth. LightInTheBox Holding with 22 IT jobs and Marks and Spencer Group with 15 jobs, recorded a 57.14% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Asda Stores recorded a flat growth with 14 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.71%, down by 27.52% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 19.38% share, registered a decline of 1.75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.92% share, down 13.21% over October 2021.
