The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 8.82% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s retail industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
Amazon posted 4,242 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 11.08% over the previous month, followed by Walmart with 340 jobs and a 7.61% drop. CVS Health with 211 IT jobs and Chewy with 191 jobs, recorded a 7.65% growth and a 7.3% growth, respectively, while Lowe’s Companies recorded a decline of 8.33% with 110 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 47.7%, up by 6.66% from October 2021. Entry Level positions with a 30.95% share, registered an increase of 2.04% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 20.5% share, up 1.22% over October 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.85%, recording a month-on-month increase of 5.77%.
