The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 5.1% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 23.55% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 2.09% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Zalando IT hiring in November 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Zalando, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 76.72% in November 2021, and a 48.33% rise over October 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 12.93% in November 2021, and registered growth of 275%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 5.17% in November 2021, a 50% rise from October 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Zalando
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 100% share, which marked a 65.71% rise over the previous month.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with an 88.79% share in November 2021, a 71.67% growth over October 2021. Finland featured next with a 6.9% share, up 100% over the previous month. Ireland recorded a 3.45% share, an increase of 300% compared with October 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Zalando IT hiring activity in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.41%, up by 75% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 13.79% share, a growth of 6.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.79% share, up 128.57% over October 2021.
