The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 12.43% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 20.65% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.48% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Zalando IT hiring in February 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Zalando, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 83.08% in February 2022, and a 17.39% rise over January 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 10.77% in February 2022, and registered growth of 75%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 5.38% in February 2022, a 22.22% drop from January 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Zalando
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 100% share, which marked a 17.12% rise over the previous month.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 90.77% share in February 2022, a 21.65% growth over January 2022. Ireland featured next with a 4.62% share, up 100% over the previous month. Finland recorded a 3.85% share, a decline of 54.55% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Zalando IT hiring activity in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.69%, up by 25.71% from January 2022. Entry Level positions with a 16.92% share, a decline of 12% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 15.38% share, up 25% over January 2022.
