The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.35% in January 2022 when compared with December 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 17.9% share in the company’s total hiring activity in January 2022, and recorded a 0.42% decline over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by ZF Friedrichshafen, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 68.87% in January 2022, and an 18.89% drop over December 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 15.09% in January 2022, and registered growth of 33.33%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 10.38% in January 2022, a 22.22% rise from December 2022.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in January 2022 with a 40.57% share, which marked a 21.82% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 34.91%, registering a 27.45% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 23.58% share and a 47.06% rise over December 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.94% and a month-on-month flat growth.
China commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 21.7% share in January 2022, a 23.33% decline over December 2022. Germany featured next with a 19.81% share, down 51.16% over the previous month. India recorded a 13.21% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with December 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead ZF Friedrichshafen IT hiring activity in January 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.75%, down by 7.41% from December 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.92% share, a decline of 44.12% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.32% share, up 50% over December 2022.
