Fabletics, a US-based activewear retailer brand of TechStyle Fashion Group, is planning to develop its presence by opening 75 new stores in a move to expand globally.

This move is part of the retailer’s strategic growth initiatives and will expand its store portfolio to 100 locations.

The retailer is also planning to introduce a store concept this September, as well as open a store featuring the concept in Bellevue, Washington.

TechStyle Fashion Group Co-CEO and co-founder Adam Goldenberg said: “Driven by innovation, inspired by community and grounded in authenticity, Fabletics embodies what today’s consumers value most in brands.

“Fabletics has succeeded beyond our expectations under Kate’s vision and our new team members, and I’m confident Fabletics will continue on its incredible growth trajectory.”

The company will also introduce the brand to the Philippines market through a new international distribution partnership late-this year.

The partnership includes the opening of free-standing stores, shop-in-shop concepts and an online shopping destination.

It will be followed by a set of other international partnerships, as well as company-owned expansion plans to expand into new territories throughout 2018 and 2019.

The retailer has named Karen Pornillos as its design vice-president and fashion director.

Before joining Fabletics, Pornillos served as vice-president of Women’s Design with Lululemon Athletica and led Movement brand design for Free People.

It has also appointed Nancy Arnold as the brand’s new vice-president and creative director and will report directly to the company’s chief marketing officer Kristen Dykstra.

Prior to this, Arnold worked with major brands such as Chloe + Isabel, Victoria’s Secret, and Ann Taylor.
