Global payments platform Adyen has partnered with Mi9 Retail to add the Adyen payments platform as an extension to the Mi9 point-of-sale (POS) system, enabling retailers to accept payments through the platform.

Mi9 Retail currently offers omnichannel retail solutions to more than 450 retail businesses across the world.

Under the partnership, Mi9 will offer its clients access to Adyen’s Terminal API solution.

“Our partnership with Adyen was designed to meet the evolving needs of retailers.”

Terminal API enables retailers to integrate with the payment system of their stores, in turn, offering their customers the option of checkout from anywhere in the store and on any device.

Mi9 Retail CEO Neil Moses said: “Our partnership with Adyen was designed to meet the evolving needs of retailers.

“We collaborate with companies that provide great services for our customers, and we know that they will immediately see the advantages that Adyen offers. We’re excited to bring this combined offer to the market.”

Adyen offers end-to-end infrastructure that connects directly to customer’s preferred payment methods, including Visa and Mastercard through online, mobile and in-store.

The company currently offers services to more than 4,500 businesses, including Facebook, Uber , Netflix , Casper , Spotify , L’Oreal and Bonobos.

Adyen North America president Kamran Zaki said: “Adyen seeks partners who can help provide a seamless checkout experience for consumers.

“Mi9 understands the shifting retail landscape and has a proven track record of working with world-class retailers. Our combined services create a number of powerful benefits to both retailers and consumers.”
