US-based digital innovator Avanade has signed a strategic partnership with K3 to develop retail solutions.
These solutions will focus on optimising customer experience and offer retailers insights into consumer spending habits.
K3 CEO Adalsteinn Valdimarsson said: “This strategic global alliance with Avanade will enhance an already-established relationship, and strengthen and accelerate our joint go-to-market proposition.

Under the partnership, a team from Avanade and K3 is currently assisting various clients, including a retailer operating stores in airports across Europe, as well as a Belgium-based fashion retailer.
The airport retail chain selected Avanade and K3 by implementing a Dynamics 365 solution for finance and operations, while the fashion retailer chose the system to optimise its store and headquarters’ operations.
