Grocery retailer Carrefour has teamed up with software company BIO-key International to improve data security for its employees in Spain.
The retailer entered a strategic partnership with Evolutio, which is BIO-key’s Swivel Secure Europe subsidiary’s partner, to deploy AuthControl Sentry cloud solution from BIO-key.
The solution will enhance and protect the authentication process for the retailer’s 6,500 employees in Spain.
The move is part of Carrefour’s commitment to “operational excellence and data security”, ensuring the protection of critical services and adherence to the highest data security and privacy standards.
Deployed in more than 54 countries, AuthControl Sentry provides businesses with multi-factor authentication (MFA) to avoid unauthorised access to applications and data.
The solution is designed to support a range of architectural requirements. It is implemented across enterprises including retail, healthcare, education and others.
