Four new Peacocks concessions are launching inside Co-op stores in Cranleigh, Surrey; Machynlleth, Powys; Kippax, Leeds; and Whitby, North Yorkshire, raising the retailer’s total presence within Co-op outlets to 13 locations.

Bonmarché is opening two further branches this month, in Lampeter, Ceredigion, and Shotts, North Lanarkshire.

This builds on four Bonmarché concessions launched earlier in the year and one that opened at Co-op’s store in Louth, Lincolnshire, in 2024, bringing its total to seven.

Co-op partnerships head Kevin Buchan said: “We are delighted to grow our partnership with Peacocks and Bonmarché, and to work with them to unveil their latest in-store concessions. Co-op is committed to backing high streets and communities, and we work to ensure our stores are more than just a shop.”

The concessions will offer clothing ranges spanning everyday basics, seasonal fashion pieces, sleepwear, accessories and footwear.

Bonmarché’s offering includes ranges linked to brand ambassadors Lisa Snowdon and Lorraine Kelly, alongside its Dash and Autonomy labels.

Bonmarché retail director Amanda Waterfield added: “This new ‘store in store’ concept allows us to showcase our full fashion offering, including our latest collections and exciting celebrity collaborations.

“This partnership also reflects our continued investment in the local high street, with over 225 Bonmarché stores across the UK, and we want to give a huge thank you to all the teams involved.”

In February, Co-op signed a new five-year logistics contract with Cambridgeshire-based haulier Buffaload.

The deal covered the transport of ambient goods from Co-op’s national distribution centre in Coventry to 11 regional distribution centres, from where stock is then delivered to stores nationwide.
