Deals this week: Redpoint, The Souled Store, OLX India

Redpoint Eventures has made an investment in Repassa, an online apparel shopping venue for men, women, and kids.

Redpoint Eventures has made an investment in online apparel shopping venue Repassa.

Redpoint Eventures is a venture capital firm focused on investments in tech start-ups.

Both companies involved in the transaction are based in Brazil.

Fixers has signed an agreement to acquire eight shops from Swoop.

The deal also involves part of the total staff and an inventory of used Apple and Samsung smartphones.

The brand name of Swoop is expected to be phased out by the end of 2018 under the agreement.

Fixers is a mobile repairing company based in the Netherlands, while Swoop is an American search advertising platform providing ad placement services to advertisers and various brands.

The Souled Store has secured $3m through the latest funding round led by RP-SG Ventures.

India-based The Souled Store is an online official merchandise store with collaborations with global companies such as Disney, Warner Bros. and WWE.

RP-SG Ventures is a venture capital fund sponsored by RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, a conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai, India.

Pentagon Motor Group intends to acquire three dealerships from TrustFord.

Located at St. Helens, Warrington, and Runcorn, the sites will be rebranded as Pentagon Ford.

The deal is expected to be completed in December 2018.

Pentagon Motor Group was founded in 1991 and is one of the UK’s biggest dealer groups of new and used cars.

Part of Ford Retail Group, TrustFord is an independent dealer group engaged in the maintenance, servicing, and sales of used and new cars and vans in the UK.

OLX India and Frontier Car Group have agreed to partner on a new offline pre-owned car selling venture called OLX Cash My Car.

Users and dealers can sell a used car directly through the online platform or at a local Cash My Car store.

The two companies will share technological knowledge, expertise, and resources to build and operate the new offline venture.

OLX India is an online platform for buying and selling used products.

Based in Germany, Frontier Car Group develops and operates pre-owned automotive marketplaces in the emerging markets.
