MODASUITE (Frank And Oak) has raised C$20m ($15.89m) through a venture financing round.

Based in Canada, MODASUITE designs, manufactures and retails men and women clothing.

Frank And Oak will use the funds to further its product development and increase its presence worldwide.

Indonesian micro-retail technology firm Warung Pintar has raised $4m through a seed financing round from venture capital company Sinar Mas Digital Ventures (SMDV).

The venture financing round closed on 12 February.

The funds are to be used by Warung to commercialise its prototype into a mass product.

Fourth Link has completed a private placement of convertible bonds to raise KRW5bn ($4.60m).

Based in South Korea, Fourth Link is engaged in the production of multimedia devices.

The bonds will yield a coupon rate of 6% a year until they mature on 12 February 2021.

Fourth Link intends to use the proceeds for the development of its facility and operations.

RYU Apparel intends to raise C$4m ($3.17m) through a private placement of 33.33 million shares, priced at C$0.12 ($0.95) a share.

Based in Canada, RYU Apparel is a retailer of men and women clothing and accessories.

The transaction will include $2m contribution from the Jeremy Bieber Group.

Oomitsu intends to raise JPY1.22bn ($11.16m) through a public offering of 1.2 million shares and a private placement of 225,000 new shares.

Based in Japan, Oomitsu is a wholesaler and retailer of food products.

The proceeds will be used to support equipment investment funding and working capital requirements.
