Kroger has joined forces with Nuro for testing grocery delivery using Nuro’s robots in Scottsdale, Arizona, US.
Based in the US, Kroger is a supermarket retailer with more than 2,779 food stores under different banner names, while Nuro is a manufacturer of driverless delivery vehicles.
Customers can place grocery orders through frysfood.com or the Fry’s Food Stores mobile app, based on the availability of slot.
The self-driving vehicles will deliver the groceries safely and quickly, and customers will be provided with access codes to open the doors of such vehicles in their driveway.

Kohl’s has inked a partnership agreement with Authentic Brands Group (ABG) to include Nine West lifestyle brand in its portfolio.
Founded in 1962, Kohl’s is a department store chain in the US, while ABG is a brand development, marketing and entertainment firm.
Kohl’s will launch women’s apparel, footwear, handbags and outerwear under the Nine West banner.
It will offer Nine West shoes, handbags, outerwear and its exclusive apparel through its nationwide stores and Kohls.com from July 2019.
