
US-based full-line omnichannel retailer DICK’S Sporting Goods is set to expand its footprint in the country with the opening of four new stores this month.
The retailer plans to open two DICK’S Sporting Goods stores and two Golf Galaxy stores.
With the new stores, the company will have a total of 727 DICK’S Sporting Goods stores and 96 Golf Galaxy stores in 47 states across the country.
The new locations will hire full-time, part-time and temporary associates for the stores, collectively offering 120 jobs to these communities.
DICK’S Sporting Goods stores will open at Hamilton Place Mall in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Valley Mall in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Golf Galaxy stores will be opened at Swedesford Plaza in Devon, Pennsylvania, and Warwick Mall in Warwick, Rhode Island.

By GlobalDataDICK’S Sporting Goods said in a statement: “Customers can expect to find top-of-the-line in-store services and exclusive offerings in apparel, footwear and equipment from the company’s own private brands, such as DSG, Tommy Armour, CALIA by Carrie Underwood, Field & Stream and Fitness Gear, as well as popular national vendors like Nike, Adidas, YETI, The North Face, Callaway and TaylorMade.”
DICK’S offers a range of sports equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories. As of 1 February, the company operated 726 DICK’S Sporting Goods locations across the US.
The retailer also owns and operates Golf Galaxy and Field & Stream speciality stores, and a youth sports mobile app called GameChanger for scheduling, communications and live scorekeeping.
Speciality golf retailer Golf Galaxy operated 94 stores as of 1 February.
