US-based full-line omni-channel retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods is set to expand its footprint with the opening of three new stores, in the US, this month.

The retailer will open two Dick’s Sporting Goods stores, in Pineville, North Carolina and Beaumont, Texas, and one Golf Galaxy store in Pineville, North Carolina.

According to the company, the three locations are expected to create approximately 160 jobs across the two communities and will increase Dick’s Sporting Goods stores to 728, and Golf Galaxy stores to 95 across 47 US states.

Dick’s will offer in-store services and other offerings across various categories, such as apparel, footwear and baseball and golf gear.

“The three locations are expected to create approximately 160 jobs across the two communities.”

It will also offer own private brands, including Tommy Armour, CALIA by Carrie Underwood, Field & Stream and Ethos, and other brands, such as adidas and NIKE.

Earlier this month, the omni-channel retailer named Ed Plummer as its chief marketing officer and Steve Miller as its strategy and analytics senior vice president. Both will report to the company’s president Lauren Hobart.

Plummer will be responsible for overseeing the company’s overall marketing strategy and implementation, including brand building, traffic driving elements, and its continued digital transformation across all consumer touch points.

In his new role, Miller will oversee the company’s strategic initiatives by providing leadership to Dick’s strategy and innovation, and strategic initiative management teams.

In its full year financial statement, the company announced that it will open seven new DICK’S Sporting Goods stores and relocate three DICK’S Sporting Goods stores during this year. It also announced plans to open two new Golf Galaxy stores and relocate one Golf Galaxy store.
