On-demand food delivery service provider DoorDash has partnered with Sam’s Club Pharmacy for a same day prescription delivery service.
As part of this partnership, DoorDash will exclusively support the service programme across the US through its DoorDash Drive, DoorDash’s white-label fulfilment platform.

With this launch, the company debuts into the pharmaceutical delivery area. It will cover more than 500 Sam’s Club locations across 41 states in the country.

The company offers free delivery to customers on their first two pharmacy orders until 31 January 2022.
Sam’s Club pharmacy operation and divisional merchandise vice-president John McDowell said: “Our partnership with DoorDash to launch this new service allows us to not only give our members more convenient healthcare options but also delivers on our commitment to their overall wellness needs.”
In July, drugstore chain Walgreens partnered DoorDash to expand delivery to customers in select cities across the US.
