Grocery delivery service Instacart has expanded its partnership with supermarket chain Tops Friendly Markets to offer delivery services at ten more locations in the US.

Grocery delivery service Instacart has expanded its partnership with supermarket chain Tops Friendly Markets to offer delivery services at ten more locations in the US.

Prior to this agreement, Instacart was offering services at 119 stores of the supermarket chain, which now grows to 129.

As part of the deal, Instacart has already started offering services across stores in Frewsburg and Boston, New York; and Canton, Pennsylvania.

The delivery service firm will commence delivery services at the remaining locations including Owego, Cooperstown, Norwich, Lowville in New York; and Troy, Sayre, and Towanda in Pennsylvania starting 28 February.

“This is Tops’ ninth expansion of Instacart services since its launch in 2017 and one of our largest expansions in Pennsylvania.”

Customers need to visit TopsMarkets.com/Instacart and enter their zip code to place orders across available locations.

Tops Friendly Markets digital marketing manager Jillian Sirica said: “This is Tops’ ninth expansion of Instacart services since its launch in 2017 and one of our largest expansions in Pennsylvania.

“We love being able to give our shoppers back time in their already busy schedules and with this expansion we’re able to positively impact even more customers.”

In November 2017, the supermarket chain started offering same-day home delivery service from three locations including Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse in New York. The company expanded the service to 44 more locations last year.

Headquartered in Williamsville, New York, Tops has 159 full-service supermarkets with more than 14,000 employees to serve its customers. The retailer offers a range of items including meat, seafood, and produce.
