US-based fragrance company Inter Parfums has signed a 15-year worldwide license agreement with clothing brand and retailer Guess.

According to the agreement, Inter Parfums will create and distribute fragrances under the Guess brand and sell them through multiple channels, including department, speciality and duty-free stores.

Inter Parfums will also be supplying its new and existing fragrances to Guess retail stores in the US, Europe, Asia, Australia and African markets.

Inter Parfums chairman and CEO Jean Madar said: “Guess is a great addition to our portfolio of fragrance brands and we look forward to collaborating with the Guess team, who has more than 20 years of expertise in the beauty industry.

“Over the past 35 years, Guess has gained global recognition with a presence in wholesale, e-commerce and over 1,700 retail locations worldwide, with amazing ambassadors to promote the brand. The Guess customer has a personal fashion identity – smart, confident, glamorous, strong, and adventurous.”

The licensing agreement will be effective from 1 April this year.
