Canadian athletic wear and outerwear brand Lolë has announced the strategic acquisition of cycling apparel brand Louis Garneau Sports.
The move is set to bolster Lolë’s position in the global sportswear market.
Louis Garneau Sports was founded by Louis Garneau and his wife Monique Arsenault in 1983.
Based in Quebec, Canada, Louis Garneau Sports is known for its expertise in the design of cycling clothing and sports equipment, encompassing three brands: Garneau, Sugoi and Sombrio.
Lolë CEO Todd Steele said: “The acquisition will allow us to diversify our product offering and strengthen our commitment to innovation, quality and performance, providing our customers with an even broader range of sports clothing and equipment.”
Lolë is set to leverage the experience and expertise of Louis Garneau Sports to develop innovative collections and cater to the increasing demands of sports and outdoor enthusiasts.

The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Lolë offers merchandise through more than 1,500 retail outlets across the Globe in Lolë Ateliers as well as online at lolelife.com.
The deal marks the third for Lolë since September 2023. In August 2024, it acquired the outdoor lifestyle footwear brand Sanuk.
