Randa Accessories intends to acquire 100% of the outstanding common shares of Perry Ellis International at a price of $28.00 a share.

The transaction will enable Randa Accessories to grow the range of its brands by adding globally recognizable names, including Perry Ellis and Original Penguin.

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.

Varroc Lighting Systems has acquired Sa-ba Automotive for an undisclosed sum.

Varroc Lighting is a global supplier of innovative exterior vehicle lighting systems, while Sa-ba Automotive is a privately-owned firm based in Istanbul.

The transaction enables Varroc Lighting to expand its presence in the Turkish market by supporting its existing customers through global platforms and adding new customers.

Sa-ba Automotive’s current programmes and infrastructure will increase the capabilities of Varroc Lighting, as well as enable the development of new products for truck, two-wheeler, three-wheeler and off-highway customers.

Established in 1996, Profix is a provider of retail services for in-store assembly, including bicycles, seasonal products and exercise equipment in Montreal.

Based in Canada, QuickContractors offers delivery, installation, assembly and renovation services for customers in the home services industry.

Rakuten has concluded the merger of its subsidiary Fablic following the acquisition of a 100% stake in the latter in September 2016.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Rakuten is an e-commerce firm that offers services for consumers and businesses.

Fablic is a consumer-to-consumer (C2C) e-commerce marketplace that offers fashion and beauty products, as well as a motorcycle flea market app called RIDE.

Fortis intends to acquire a 36.07% stake in Lejel Shopping for $7.73m.

The company will acquire 9,377 shares of the latter, as part of the transaction.

Fortis is a leader in the North American utility industry, while Lejel Shopping is an Indonesian home shopping firm.
