Global e-commerce company Fanatics has partnered with National Basketball Association (NBA) to launch official online NBA stores across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The new deal is expected to further strengthen Fanatics’ partnership with NBA.
Fanatics currently operates the flagship NBA Store in New York City and an official online NBA store in Europe.
According to the new agreement, official online NBA stores will be now available in countries in the APAC region that includes Australia, Cambodia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Fanatics International president Steve Davis said: “The NBA is becoming an increasingly global league, and we’ve seen a significant uptick in fandom across several regions throughout Asia.
“This level of growth is very exciting, and Fanatics is committed to providing a best-in-class online shopping experience to provide these passionate fans with easy access to the largest assortment of officially licensed NBA merchandise available for all 30 teams.”

By GlobalDataThe new online stores in the APAC region will feature a wide assortment of men’s, women’s and youth products from all 30 teams, including on-court apparel from official outfitter Nike and products from a range of NBA merchandise partners, including New Era and Mitchell & Ness.
The new online stores will also offer exclusive products, including personalised team jerseys.
With the addition of ten new online stores in the APAC region, the league will now have 20 international e-commerce sites.
