B&M has opened its new store on London Road in Newbury, Berkshire.

After taking over three units (formerly Pets at Home, Topps Tiles and Lidl) and a comprehensive refurbishment programme, the store officially opened on 7 October.

The store will offer local residents an extensive range of affordable products including groceries, homeware and DIY equipment, toiletries, health & beauty products, and toys, catering to a wide array of consumer needs.

This move not only enriches the retail landscape for Newbury residents but also contributes to the local economy by generating 75 job opportunities.

“We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store,” said the store’s manager.

In a community-driven effort, B&M staff were asked to nominate a local charity to officially unveil the store. They chose Newbury Soup Kitchen, recognised for their commendable community service.
