Real estate development firm Aldar is set to open its Yas Mall in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on 19th November ahead of the 2014 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The new mall will house 400 international brands and also provide largest international department store in the region.
Aldar Properties PJSC CEO Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak said: "The mall will add significantly to the Yas Island experience, complimenting attractions that include Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and the island’s seven hotels, as well as the Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Links golf course, and Yas Waterworld.
"Starting 19th November, visitors will enjoy an unparalleled shopping experience, with a wide array of brands brought to the Capital and to the region for the first time."
Spread across 2.5 million square feet, the mall includes the largest Debenhams outside UK and the first Hamleys toy store and Lego Concept store in the region.
It will feature more than 60 food and beverage centres, including Cheesecake Factory, Angelina and Rogo’s Rollercoaster Restaurant.
The customers will be able to enjoy movies on 20 VOX screens along with 4Dx technology.
Being one of the largest retail and entertainment venues in the region, it will provide people of all ages and interests including families and tourists with an unmatched shopping, dining and entertainment experience, Aldar claimed.
