Amazon has announced the expansion of its Prime Now one-hour delivery service to Milwaukee, US.
Available exclusively for Prime members, the delivery service provides free two-hour delivery on various items ranging from milk, eggs and ice cream to Amazon devices.
Customers can also shop using the Alexa app to order from Prime Now.
Amazon Prime Now worldwide vice-president Stephenie Landry said: “Not only does Prime Now offer customers convenient delivery of tens of thousands of items, the service is really about giving time back to Prime members to do the things they want.
“Sometimes you don’t have time to make it to the store or maybe you just don’t want to. Prime Now is your one-stop shop for everything from cereal to pet food to an Amazon Echo all delivered right to your door with free two-hour delivery.”
Daily essentials can now be ordered with Alexa through Prime Now using Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Amazon Tap, Fire tablet, and Fire TV.
The app will recommend a product upon a customer’s voice request within the Prime Now catalog and add it to the order upon confirmation.
Alexa can also order multiple items at a time, make recommendations, and automatically select the next available two-hour delivery window.
Prime Now is currently available in more than 30 cities in the US.
