French-based retail group Auchan Retail has opened its 100th hypermarket in Moscow, Russia.
The new 5,970m² hypermarket employs 174 people.
The store offers a selection of 23,400 products. A selection of items is also available online with a Click&Collect pick-up point service.
Opening its first hypermarket in Mytischi in 2002, Auchan currently operates hypermarkets, supermarkets and convenience stores across more than 85 cities in Russia.
The trailer intends to open additional ten stores by the end of this year.
Auchan has invested approximately €3.1bn in Russia and currently employs 43,000 people.
The new hypermarket follows the opening of the 99th store in Tyumen in the Siberian Urals last week.
