Automotive replacement parts and accessories retailer AutoZone intends to hire 12,000 new full and part-time employees across the US this year.
This move is part of its strategy to provide WOW! Customer Service as the company continues to expand.
AutoZone will hire people for its stores in New York City; Oakland, California; Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio; New Orleans, Louisiana; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Atlanta, Georgia and Dallas, Texas.
AutoZone intends to recruit sales representatives, delivery drivers, parts sales managers, commercial sales managers, store managers and hub specialists through April.
Since 2015, the company has hired nearly 10,000 current and former US Military Service members, and is aiming to recruit more than 15,000 transitioning service members and military veterans by 2020.
The company also added that it is looking at hiring high school graduates, vocational and college students, retirees and veterans for these positions.
AutoZone currently has 5,313 stores in 50 US states, in addition to District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
It has 488 stores in Mexico, as well as 26 IMC branches and eight stores in Brazil.
