eBay and e-commerce platform provider BigCommerce have announced the availability of a new integration that allows merchants to easily list and sell products on the eBay marketplace.

The solution also enables merchants to manage inventory and orders natively via BigCommerce.

The merchants can choose products from their inventory and sell to more than 165 million active buyers on eBay instantly, without any third-party apps or custom development.

"This integration will deliver even more choice and selection to eBay’s highly engaged and active global buyer base.”

eBay business-to-consumer selling vice-president Bob Kupbens said: “eBay helps every shopper find items that are perfect for them, and this integration will deliver even more choice and selection to eBay’s highly engaged and active global buyer base.”

Of the total merchandise sold on eBay, 81% is new and 87% is available at a fixed price. By utilising this integration, BigCommerce merchants can simultaneously sell the same products through both eBay and their website, while syncing stock levels and eBay orders with their online store.

Merchants can also generate hundreds of eBay listings within minutes using customisable templates by automatically mapping products to eBay categories.
