BW Gas & Convenience Holdings has acquired 21 convenience stores in Iowa, US, from Kum & Go, L.C.

The company acquired three stores located in Mason City last week, and the remaining 18 stores will be bought over the next four weeks.

This acquisition will take the number of convenience stores owned and operated by BW Gas & Convenience in Iowa to 31.

“Customers will enjoy redesigned stores that are true to our brand tenets, which are to be user-friendly, inviting and efficient."

The company plans to own between 600 and 1,000 stores across the US in next several years.

Meanwhile, BW Gas & Convenience has also unveiled its national convenience store brand, Yesway, to offer a wide range of products and an improved food service.

Yesway also plans to spend approximately $6.7m to refurbish its entire portfolio to further enhance the customer experience.
