Smart & Final Stores subsidiary and grocery warehouse chain Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice is set to open a new store later this week in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, US.
The new store will be the company’s fourth in the state and the third in the local region, adding to the two existing stores in Spokane, Washington.
Marking the company’s 61st in the Western US, the new 20,000ft² store is expected to cater to the needs of local foodservice businesses.
Cash&Carry sales and marketing vice-president John Mathews said: "Our stores provide foodservice operators high-quality products at the right prices.
"Our unique layout and product offerings provide customers with large foodservice needs the opportunity to quickly and easily navigate our store and get the products they are looking for.
“This was a natural location to be more convenient for our existing customers and expand our reach to new customers in the region."
According to the company, the new store will have more than 8,000 products, including fresh produce, grocery products, catering supplies, tableware and barware.
Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice further added that in addition to the foodservice industry, the stores cater to the needs of non-profit organisations, schools, church groups, caterers and other individuals.
In addition to the new store, the company also operates 60 warehouse stores in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California and Utah.
Smart & Final Stores is headquartered in Commerce, California in the US.
