French retailer Castorama has chosen Glory Global Solutions to automate the back-office cash processing process in its outlets.
Castorama will deploy CASHINFINITY CI-100 devices across more than 100 stores over the next two years.
The retailer selected Glory’s solution due to its ability to enhance security and reduce manual cash handling time.
Implementing CASHINFINITY will enable in-store automated cash recycling in the back office during day-to-day operations and shift change, accelerating these processes and releasing managers to focus on their core business.
Store funds will also be secure and the manager can remotely monitor and supervise cash inventory in real-time, optimising cash processes.
Castorama treasury operations manager Céline Fortis said: "The first deployments of cash automation with the CASHINFINITY solution have met with huge success among our teams.”
Glory Global Solutions EMEA president Vincent Nakache said: “As consumers in France continue to choose cash as a preferred method of payment, we are delighted to be helping major retailers like Castorama streamline their processes and enhance the security of their cash operations allowing them to focus on growing their business.”
UK-based Glory Global Solutions operates in more than 100 countries across various segments that include financial, retail, gaming and cash centres.
A member of the Kingfisher Group, Castorama has 102 home improvement stores across Europe that sell 50,000 products.
