

C.H. Robinson has renewed a contract to continue supplying logistics services to UK-based grocery and general merchandise retailer Tesco, in order to increase current product distribution across Poland.
Since 2011, C.H. Robinson has been serving as the logistics provider to the retailer's Poland-based business.
C.H. Robinson Europe president Jeroen Eijsink said: "Tesco has been part of the C.H. Robinson customer portfolio for the past five years.
"We believe that our strength lies in understanding our customers’ needs, which replicates in the significant services we offer."
With the latest deal, C.H. Robinson will expand Tesco operations to its Gliwice, Poznan, and Teresin divisions.
Tesco Poland employs nearly 30,000 people and operates a network of more than 400 stores across the country.
Tesco CE distribution director Matthew Rhind said: "The company’s bespoke distribution solutions and expertise, have proven to meet our requirements. We are confident that this further collaboration with C.H. Robinson will support our strategies over the years ahead."
C.H. Robinson currently provides freight transportation and logistics, outsource solutions, produce sourcing, and information services to 110,000 customers through a network of offices in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
