US-based special occasion retailer David's Bridal has partnered with Mexican clothing manufacturer Diltex to open its first franchise location in Mexico City.

The store on Avenida Revolucion has undergone renovation with soft lighting, high ceilings and an 11,000ft² sales floor.

The first floor of the two-storey building contains a selection of gowns from exclusive David's Bridal collections such as White by Vera Wang, Truly Zac Posen, and Oleg Cassini, as well as accessories, veils and headpieces to complete the look.

“Their market expertise, track record of success, and passion for customer service has made them a perfect partner to David's Bridal."

Meanwhile, the company noted that the second floor features an array of bridesmaid styles in multiple colours and silhouettes to complement every wedding style.

The boutique also includes an intimate section that features lingerie for the wedding and honeymoon, as well as casualwear for events leading up to the wedding and bachelorette party.

David's Bridal chairman and CEO Paul Pressler said: "The boutique is even more beautiful than we imagined, and we couldn't be more excited to service each and every bride in Mexico City and beyond."

“As we enter into our newest market, we are fortunate to have partnered with Diltex, the top manufacturer and retailer of intimate apparel in Mexico.

“Their market expertise, track record of success, and passion for customer service has made them a perfect partner to David's Bridal."

With the latest expansion, the company now has stores in five countries, including the US, Canada and Mexico.
