UrbanStems, an on-demand flower delivery service provider based in the US, plans to expand its business using the $6.8m raised through a recently concluded Series A funding round.

The transaction was led by US-based venture capital firm SWaN & Legend Venture Partners and involved the participation of other venture capital firms, including Middleland Capital, NextGen Venture Partners, Interplay Ventures, and Sagamore Ventures, .

Adriyo Technology Pvt. Ltd. (CareOnGo), a mobile pharmacy chain, has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-Series A funding round to enhance its technology and expand its e-distribution setup.

The funding was led by Farooq Oomerbhoy of FAO Ventures LLP. Other participants in the funding included Anupam Mittal and Anand Mittal of People Group; Ravi Garikipati, head of Flipkart’s ads business; and Vibhu Garg, co-founder of Unicommerce, Singapore Angel Network Pte. Ltd, and Konglo Ventures LLP.

Aaidea Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (Milkbasket) plans to grow its logistics network and further improvise its technology by investing $0.5m.

Indian venture capital firm EVC Ventures led the transaction and other venture firms, including Peter Zou, CEO of YeahMobi; Li Jian, the founder of Zhu Dao Investments; and Peesh Chopra, managing partner of PVC Venture Capital. Snapdeal vice-presidents Vikas Banga and Manav Kamboj also participated in the same.

Milkbasket is an e-commerce company engaged in grocery deliveries.

wineOwine, an Italian online wine seller, has raised €0.8m($0.9m) through a venture capital funding round, enabling it to expand by reaching out to new producers.

Bertelsmann India Investments (BII) has invested $5m in Relevant E-Solutions Private Limited (doing business as Roposo) through a second leg of Series B round of funding.

The amount is a part of $21m raised by Roposo to expand its horizons and team along with enhancing its product range.

Roposo is an e-commerce shopping company, whereas BII is an international media company focusing on investments in the digital, education, media and services sectors.
